A huge amount of work was done by the competition group led by Jan Burke. Special thanks to June Griffiths and Gwen Foster. Thank you to Carolyn Davies who organised the umpires. Also thanks to the tournament referees, scouts, mentors, scorers, timekeepers and all the other volunteers who gave their time and knowledge so freely.

A huge thank you to Colin Hill who was there all day ensuring everything was OK with the venue and to Chris Molloy who did a splendid job on the PA.

We had a very successful event and we hope the players, support staff and parents enjoyed participating.

“As chairman of the East region I am very proud of this fantastic group of volunteers. A credit to our sport. Well done.”

Thank you to International Umpire Jackie Mizon for presenting the trophies to the winning schools.
