Goalden Globe 2019 Celebration & Afternoon Tea


The East Region Goalden Globe winners will be announced and presented at the East GGA celebration awards. The event will take place directly after the East Regional Assembly on Saturday 4th May at The UoH Fielder Centre, Hatfield Business Park, Hatfield, Hertfordshire, AL10 9TP.  

The celebrations will commence with Afternoon tea and Prosecco, followed by a volunteer recognition awards ceremony, celebration of this year’s East competition for RCL, National clubs and schools and also a trip down memory lane, celebrating 70 years of netball in the East region. 

GGA winners will be announced across the following categories:

• Grassroots Coach Award 
• Sheelagh Redpath Grassroots Official Award 
• Young Volunteer Award 
• Outstanding Netball Club Award 
• Teacher Award 
• Unsung Hero Award 
• Mary Bulloch Administrator Award 
• Muriel McNally Award 

The East Regional Winner in each category will automatically go through to the National Goalden Globe Awards and invited to the presentation evening on 14th July 2019 in Liverpool for a very special Vitality Netball World Cup celebration, where the National Winners will be announced.
